Michael Aaron Casares @ Texas NORML Event




Michael will be reading at The United States Arts Authority on Friday April 22, 2011 as part of a Texas NORML fundraiser. He will be reading on the inside stage at 8 PM. The event is $5 to attend. There will be many speakers and performances. All proceeds go to support Texas NORML. Event is located at 2906 Fruth St. Austin, TX. 6 PM

Michael will be speaking with George Dillon McKinsey on "Writing on the Air" on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. The show will air live on 91.7 FM Austin at 6PM CST, TX and will also be streaming at http://writingontheair.com/


Michael will be reading from "This Reality of Man" at The Hideout, located at 601 Congress Ave. Austin, TX on January 10, 2010. Guest, Bill Shute of Kendra Steiner Editions will be reading as well. There will be an open mic. Bring your poetry and join in the fun. The event starts at 7PM; it is free to public.

Submit to "The Yellow Elevator"

The Yellow Elevator is a quarterly publication of independent poetry and literature. Take us on a trip.

Send 3 - 5 poems in the body of the email. Up to 100 lines each poem.

Send Short Fiction; Articles on writing, culture, or art; or prose, between 500- 3,000 words.

Send chapbook and book reviews, preferably of poetry and art. No more than 2,000 words, please.

There is no fee or charge to submit. At this time there is also no monetary payment for authors and poets selected for publication. Contributors will, however, receive a free .pdf download of the issue their work is published in.

All submissions must have a bio. Do not send previously published work. Do not simultaneously submit the same work to us and another publication.
